What's it like for someone who's never run more than one mile at a time to try and run a 5k? Let's find out.

When the Sun Comes Up Imma Run 2.25 Miles
I'm sitting at Barnes and Noble, using their newly free WiFi, chatting with a couple friends on Facebook, excited about the talk I just wrote for church Sunday morning and kind of regretting the cherry dessert thing I ate over an hour ago. But, mostly I'm happy.
I wasn't very active today, except for one thing.
We took the training wheels off Sam's bike (at his request) and I helped him learn how to ride, two-wheel style!
I was shocked at how hard it is to run while squatting/bent over and holding onto the seat of a little bike. You'll notice in the video that I look like I want to pass out.
After we were done, we started to head into the garage. But, Sam decided to give it one more try on his own. And he totally did it! He rode all the way across the driveway, through the peoples' driveway across from us...and right into their garage door. He kind of flipped out and has a nice bruise on his arm, but he's fine.
I'm super proud of my little buddy. He'll be popping wheelies in no time. Popping, not pooping.
I'm supposed to run 2.25 miles in the morning, so wish me luck. Please.
