Am I Limited In The Amount of "Whats" I Can Request?

I'm getting better. I can tell. I like it.

The schedule for today called for me to run 3/4 mile, then walk 1/2, then run another 3/4. I didn't think I'd be able to do it. I've had enough trouble running a 1/2, so to think I'd be able to run 3 laps in a row seemed unreasonable.

I walked my warm-up lap and then fixed my mind on running 3 laps. One difference today was that I ran while listening to a podcast (none other than Two Gomers Run A Half Marathon - www.twogomers.com). I loved it! Both the podcast and how it distracted me. It seemed like every time I got tired or too focused, I'd laugh at something Steven and Anthony said. It was awesome.

I finished the first 3/4 in 9:20. My goal was 10 minutes, which seemed reasonable, so beating it was nice. After walking the 1/2, I ran the second 3/4...in 8:50. Oops! How I ran faster, I have no idea. I'm ok with it, though.

I'm supposed to run 2 miles straight on Friday or Saturday. I'm not scared, but...who knows. Anything's possible, I suppose. Just do it! That's what my friend Anthony said. Oh, and Nike.

Like I said earlier, I went back to Customer Service today. It went well. Honestly. And, like I thought, it was nice to see old, familiar faces. I've got a long way to go, though, to be on-the-phone ready.

Lastly...according to Uncle Steven's Facebook, they all went to the Grand Canyon today! I'm so excited to see pictures of Sam there and hear how much fun he had. I miss that little guy!

Wait...I've never been to the Grand Canyon. Now I'm jealous.
