Ran again today. It went better, too. My legs don't feel nearly as bad as yesterday.
Today I walked 5 minutes, ran 2, walked to the track and ran a lap (1/4 mile!) then walked a lap, then ran almost two minutes, then walked to the statue of Mary at the church and prayed for a minute, then ran another two minutes, then walked home and did my warm-down stretches.
A couple other things:
I got a blister on my left heel. Suckage.
My legs feel REALLY good.
I love cold showers. Really cold.
It still seems impossible that I'll be able to run 3 miles without stopping. Granted, it's only day 2.
I need a watch to time myself, but there's nothing very convenient for a person with only one wrist.
There was a fleeting moment today where I thought to myself, "This is kinda fun."
My friend Carolyn and I made up a new flavor of latte and it's really good.
I might take a break from running tomorrow and work on my core. You know, that part under all this fat.
