This morning's run was interesting.
First of all, I went out late last night. And, while it was super fun and I don't regret it, it made for an early morning. Plus, I had a couple drinks and a swiss cheeseburger at about 10:30pm. Good idea!
Not only did I get to bed late, I got up waaaay early. I woke up around 4am, went downstairs, and was in and out of sleep until 6am. That's when I ran.
I set out to run 2.5 miles and decided I'd run my usual route...GASP...backwards! And when I say "backwards" I don't mean that I was facing the wrong direction. Duh. The problem with this is that I didn't realize how much more uphill it would be. Oh, well. I was tempted to walk twice, but resisted. Felt good.
Couple other things about the run:
The Hamm's can was in a different spot! This confounded me.
The Stuff You Should Know episode I listened to was about...agent orange. Kind of depressing. An interesting listen, but it was a bit hard to run to.
So, it was a successful morning. I'm looking forward to Thursday morning's 2.75 miles! I'm almost there!
(Oh, and yesterday I played some basketball and did my abs and arms)
