Have you ever run in a driving thunderstorm? On purpose? While listening to a podcast about competitive eating?
Didn't think so. But, that is precisely what I just did. 2.5 miles worth. It was awesome.
So...my first 2.5 mile run and my first run in the rain. On the same day. Pretty exciting.
Julie was scared for me. When I got home she asked in a panic if I was ok. Once I assured her I was safe she said, "Make sure you take a picture of yourself." I didn't.
Besides the rain, my favorite part of the run was seeing the Hamm's beer can again. It's a good landmark. "Veer right at the Hamm's beer can. And smile."
I also enjoyed listening to Josh and Chuck discuss competitive eating on the Stuff You Should Know podcast. In an ironic sort of way. Nothing like hitting that second mile while two dudes are talking about side food and shots of 252 and puking and Ryan Reynolds' disdain for the "sport." You helped me through again, guys! For this, I thank you.
By the way...I've officially lost over 20 pounds as of today! 20.3 since June 22nd. Me like.
I've been listening to "Rain" while writing this, and even though I usually don't listen to music on my runs, this is going on the shuffle.
Oh...quick report on yesterday. I did my arms and abs last night during the movie Taken with Liam Neeson. It was weird because Julie was on the couch while I did it. I think it was making her mad. But, not nearly as mad as I was at that STOWPID movie. Seriously, I hated it. There was literally ONE moment I liked. About ten seconds. Should I do a "spoiler alert" post and give the reasons I hated it? I think I will.
Alright...that's it. Time for a little Dog Named David. What's with my '90s taste in relatively obscure music today?
This might be the most un-linear post I've had yet.

I want to know why you didn't like Taken because I liked it a lot...even though it makes me never want to go to Europe without five bodyguards surrounding me at all times, even when I sleep and even when I potty
